The Ultimate RoundHow The Ultimate Round works
Four steps, and the app does the remembering for you.
- Find your course. Search by name or postcode, then pick the tees you play. Your best scores are tracked per tee, since a par 4 off the whites is a different hole to the same par 4 off the yellows.
- Log your score after a round. Enter what you shot on each hole, hole by hole. Only played a few holes, or catching up on scores from a while back? Each hole score carries its own date, so that's fine too.
- The Ultimate Round remembers your best. Every time you log a score, it's compared to your all-time best on that hole. If it's better, it replaces it. Nothing else changes.
- Watch your ultimate round total. Add your best-ever score on every hole together and that's your ultimate round, the composite score of your best holes, whenever they happened.
A worked example
Say you've logged three rounds at a 3-hole stretch of your course:

You never actually shot 4-3-4 across those three holes in a single round, but your ultimate round is 11, because it's built from your best on each hole, whenever it happened. The more rounds you log, the closer this number gets to what you're truly capable of on your course.
A few questions
Does this replace my GPS or shot-tracking app?
No, The Ultimate Round doesn't do distances, club selection, or shot-by-shot stats. It's meant to sit alongside whatever you already use for that.
Can I track more than one course?
Yes, add as many as you like from "Find a course." Each one gets its own ultimate round.
What if I play the wrong tees one day?
Each tee is tracked separately, so scores from a different set of tees won't mix into the wrong ultimate round.
